Cookies
The site uses cookies:

PERSONAL DATA
Regulation (EU) 679/2016 grants users the following rights regarding the processing of their personal data:
Right of access to obtain from the data controller information about whether personal data processing concerning them is ongoing. Right to rectification. Right to erasure. Right to restriction of personal data processing. Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. Right to personal data portability. The rules governing these rights are described in Articles 16-21 of the Regulation, and I invite you to read them for more details.
TRANSFER OF PERSONAL DATA
Data may be processed by some companies or natural persons who provide essential services for the site itself:
Aruba – for the purpose of storing data on the server, including the mailbox. Google – for the purpose of using Gmail. Mailerlite – for the purpose of using the newsletter, where your data is processed if you choose to subscribe to our newsletter. Use of Contact Form and Data Entered in Comments or Contacts
Data sent through the contact form will be used solely to respond to requests via email or phone. Data remains stored in the email archive, on the blog for comments, and in backups; it will not be transferred to third parties. Pursuant to Art. 6 of the Regulation, personal data will be processed to respond to you and may be archived both in email and computer folders to demonstrate the conversation history. You can request access to conversations and possibly their deletion, unless archiving protects business interests.
SOCIAL SHARING TOOLS
The blog has installed plugins for sharing content on social channels like Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn.
When viewing the site, your browser will automatically connect with the servers of individual social channel providers. At this point, providers will know that you are viewing the site even if you don’t have a personal profile on individual channels or aren’t logged in. Information, including IP address, is transmitted to servers that may be outside the European Union.
If you are logged in and decide to like or share a post on social channels, this information will be visible on your personal profile, depending on your privacy settings on individual channels.

NEWSLETTER
The newsletter is sent via email through Mailerlite to those who explicitly request it by completing the newsletter subscription form and authorizing the processing of their personal data. Data provision is optional. Refusal to provide data results in the inability to obtain the newsletter service. Data transmitted through the newsletter subscription form is processed for the purpose of sending the newsletter pursuant to Art. 6 of the Regulation.
Purpose of Processing
Personal data provided by users is used solely for sending the newsletter or responding to contact requests and will not be communicated to third parties.
Data Processing Methods
Collected data is processed with IT tools. Appropriate security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use, and unauthorized access.
Data Communication and Transfer Abroad
The newsletter is managed on the Mailerlite platform, a company based in Lithuania UAB “MailerLite”, J. Basanavičiaus 15, LT-03108 Vilnius, Lithuania, and processes data according to standards required by EU Privacy Regulators. This company will process interested parties’ data as an independent Controller, in compliance with the aforementioned standards (see privacy notice). Failure to consent to data communication and transfer as detailed above will result in the inability to obtain the newsletter service.
Cancellation
To stop receiving the newsletter, click the appropriate unsubscribe link in the newsletter footer. In case of problems, send an email notification to: info@fivesenses-italianhomes.com.
Akismet
We collect information about visitors who comment on the site using the Akismet anti-spam service. Information collected typically includes the commenter’s IP address, referrer, and other information provided directly such as name, username, email, and the comment text itself.
Rights of Data Subjects
Individuals to whom personal data refers have the right at any time to obtain confirmation of the existence or non-existence of such data and to know its content and origin, verify its accuracy or request its integration or updating, or rectification (Article 7 of the Personal Data Protection Code). Pursuant to the same article, they have the right to request cancellation, transformation into anonymous form, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, as well as to oppose in any case, for legitimate reasons, its processing.
